Vietnam Lindy Exchange is an international swing dance weekend, held every year since 2009 — and in 2027 it returns to the UNESCO World Heritage town of Hội An. Three days and nights of swingin' live bands, international DJs and dancing by the beach and through the old town. Lindy Hop at heart, and loved by Balboa and Blues dancers from all over the world.

Palm Garden Resort — our home for VLX 2027.
A beachfront resort minutes from Hội An Ancient Town — and the venue for every evening dance, the gala dinner and the late-night sessions, so the dancing runs until 3am, rain or shine. A big VLX favourite back in 2026.

Fly into Da Nang International Airport (DAD) — about a 45-minute drive to Hoi An. Sort your own transfer: share a ride via our Facebook group, or take a Grab Car / Xanh SM.

When and where is VLX 2027?
Friday 19 – Sunday 21 March 2027, in Hội An, Vietnam. The exact venues for each dance are being confirmed and will be published here as soon as they are locked in.
When does registration open, and how much is a pass?
There are two windows, opening on these dates right here on this website: group registration on 10 October 2026, 18:00 (GMT+7) (groups of 6–10 dancers, maximum 10 groups), and individual registration on 17 October 2026, 18:00 (GMT+7) — the first 50 dancers get the early-bird price. Pass prices for each window are listed in the Registration section above.
Which dance styles can I expect?
Mainly Lindy Hop, with dedicated late-night sessions loved by Balboa and Blues dancers. DJs and live bands play across all three nights.
How do I get there?
Fly into Da Nang International Airport (DAD), roughly a 40-minute drive from Hội An. We will share ride-coordination tips and private-car options closer to the event.
Where should I stay?
Stay at Palm Garden Resort, our home for the whole weekend — VLXers get special rates on three room types. You can reserve directly with the resort through the link in the Venue section (no payment now; it's a request, not an instant booking). Availability is limited and first come, first served. Prefer somewhere else? We've also curated a list of nearby stays in the same section.
Does booking a room at Palm Garden guarantee my spot at VLX?
No. Your room is booked with the resort; your spot at VLX is booked with us, and the two are separate. A room does not guarantee a place on the dance floor. Please read the resort's terms and conditions before you reserve.
What is the cancellation policy?
See our full Terms & Conditions. In short: VLX does not offer refunds, but passes can be transferred to another dancer within the stated deadline.
